Terms of use

Effective 16 September 2026.

The short version

Read the free chapters for nothing. A membership is $4.99 a month, renews automatically until you cancel from your account page, and you keep access to the end of the period you paid for. The stories are ours and made with AI under human direction; you may read them, not republish them. Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you where you live.

1. Who you are dealing with

jazzymanhwa.com (the site) is operated by Jasser Mark Arioste, a sole proprietor established in the Philippines (we, us). Contact: [email protected].

These terms are the agreement between you and us for using the site. Paying for a membership also creates a separate contract with Paddle, the seller of record, described in section 8. By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not, please do not use it.

2. Who may use the site

The site is for adults. Some stories contain violence and implied sex. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy a membership, and you must be able to enter into a binding contract where you live.

3. Your account

  • An account is for one person. The email address on it must be yours and must work.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has access to it, tell us and change your sign-in details.
  • You can delete your account at any time from the account page. Deletion removes your account and reading history immediately; payment records are kept as described in the privacy policy, because a refund or chargeback has to be traceable to something.

4. The stories, and how they are made

Every story on the site is original to us: none is a translation, a scan or a copy of somebody else’s work. They are made with artificial intelligence under human direction: the text is written by AI language models from outlines, direction and editing by a person; the art is drawn by AI image models from descriptions a person writes and selects; and the narration is a synthetic voice. A person directs, reviews and approves every chapter before it is published.

We may edit a story after publication, add chapters, change which chapters are free, or withdraw a story. If we withdraw a story you are part-way through while you hold a paid membership, section 7 says what you are owed.

5. What you may do with them

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read, view and listen to the stories on the site, for your own non-commercial use, for as long as these terms are in force and — for member-only chapters — for as long as your membership gives you access.

You may quote a short passage, with a link back to the site, for comment or review. You may tell anyone you like about a story; sharing a link is always fine.

6. Free chapters and advertising

Every story opens with chapters anyone can read without an account. Free chapters carry advertising, which is what pays for them. Members see no advertising anywhere on this site.

In the reader — the screen where a story plays — advertising is limited, and these limits are part of these terms rather than a design we may quietly change. There is at most one advertisement, in a band across the bottom of the screen, below the story and below the controls. It is never placed over the artwork. Its height is part of the layout before any advertisement loads, so nothing moves when one arrives or fails to arrive. It does not refresh while you read. Which chapters are free can change; a chapter that is free today may be members-only later, and a members-only chapter may open to everyone after a time.

7. Membership

What it is

Jazzy+ is a monthly subscription. What it includes is described on the membership page at the time you join. The core of it is access to every chapter of every story on the site and no advertising.

Price and tax

The price is $4.99 per month. Depending on where you live, sales tax or VAT may be added or included; Paddle calculates it and shows the exact amount before you confirm.

Automatic renewal

Your membership renews automatically every month, and your payment method is charged $4.99 plus any applicable tax on each renewal date, until you cancel. The renewal date is shown on your account page.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your account page, online, in a few clicks, or through the link Paddle sends with your receipt. Cancelling stops the renewal; your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for and then ends. Nothing further is charged.

Refunds and your right to withdraw

If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have a legal right to withdraw from the membership within 14 days of paying without giving a reason. Our refund policy goes at least that far for everyone: ask within 14 days of any payment and it is refunded in full. Beyond that, we do not refund part of a month that has been used, except as set out below.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries it and emails you. Your access continues for a grace period of 3 days so that an expired card does not cut you off mid-chapter. If the payment has not gone through by the end of the grace period, access ends until it does.

Price changes

If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to you. A new price never applies to a period you have already paid for. If you do not want to pay it, cancel before the renewal date and nothing more is charged.

If we take something away

If, during a period you have paid for, we withdraw a story you were reading or remove something material from what the membership page promised when you joined, tell us and we will refund the remainder of that period, or the whole of it if you prefer to leave.

8. Paddle, the seller of record

Payments are taken by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd in the United Kingdom and Paddle.com Inc. in the United States). Paddle is the seller of record: it charges your payment method, calculates and remits tax, issues your receipt and handles chargebacks, and your contract for the payment itself is with Paddle under its buyer terms. We never receive your card number. We do receive confirmation that you have paid, which is what opens the chapters; the privacy policy says exactly what.

9. What you may not do

  • Share your account or membership with anyone else, or resell access.
  • Copy, download, republish, redistribute or publicly display the text, art or audio of a story, in whole or in substantial part, on any other site or service.
  • Use the text, art or audio to train, fine-tune or evaluate a machine-learning model, or to generate derivative works, whether by hand or by automated means.
  • Scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site, or access it by any automated means other than a search engine indexing public pages in accordance with our robots file.
  • Try to get around the paywall, the media access controls or any other technical limit, or help anyone else to.
  • Interfere with the site’s operation, security or other readers’ use of it.

10. Ownership

The site, its name and design, and the stories — text, art, narration, titles and characters — are owned by us or licensed to us, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms transfers any of it to you beyond the licence in section 5. If you send us feedback or ideas, you agree we may use them without obligation to you.

If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, email [email protected] with the page, what you own and how to reach you. We look at every such message the day it arrives.

11. Changes to the service or these terms

We may change the site and the membership — to add features, fix problems, meet the law or respond to how the site is used. If a change would materially reduce what a membership gives you, we will email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you may cancel before then and be refunded any part of a paid period the change affects.

We may also change these terms. The effective date at the top moves when we do; for a change that matters, account holders are emailed beforehand and a notice is shown on the site. If you keep using the site after the change takes effect, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using the site and, if you are a member, cancel — you will be refunded any paid period the change affects.

12. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the site, cancel a membership or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 9 or that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently; where a paid period is unused and the closure is not due to a serious breach, it is refunded. We may close the site altogether on 30 days’ notice, refunding any unused paid period. Sections 10, 14 and 15 continue to apply after the agreement ends.

13. Guarantees and availability

We will supply the membership as described on the membership page and in these terms. If it does not work as described, tell us: we will fix it or, if we cannot, refund you as section 7 sets out.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have legal guarantees that digital content and services conform to their description and work as they should, and nothing in these terms limits them. Beyond what those laws and section 7 provide, the site is supplied as it is: we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of minor faults, and we may take it offline briefly for maintenance.

14. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else that the law where you live does not allow to be limited — including a consumer’s statutory rights.

Subject to that, we are liable to you for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care, and not for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for loss you could have avoided by taking reasonable steps. For anything the law allows us to cap, our total liability to you for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, or if you paid nothing, to fifty US dollars.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Philippines, and disputes may be brought in its courts. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring a claim in the courts of that country. Where the law of your home country gives you more than these terms do, that law wins.

If something goes wrong, please email us first. Almost everything can be sorted out that way, and faster than any formal route. We are not obliged to take part in consumer arbitration board proceedings and do not currently do so.

16. The rest

  • These terms, the privacy policy and the refund policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site. Paddle’s buyer terms govern the payment itself.
  • If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies, and that part is read as narrowly as needed to make it enforceable.
  • If we do not act on a breach at once, we have not given up the right to act on it later.
  • You may not transfer this agreement to anyone else. We may transfer it to a company we form or to a buyer of the business, on the same terms, and will tell you if we do.
  • Notices to you go to the email address on your account. Notices to us go to [email protected].
  • These terms are written in English, and English is the language of the agreement.
